Drawings by Eugenia Pardue

“I had a very dear friend of mine, who lives in Seattle. He had a brain tumor and I went up to Seattle in 2014/2015 for several weeks to help him out after his surgery. There wasn’t much I could do, as quiet was necessary. I started doodling drawing upon my decades of studying the decorative arts. After 100’s of doodles and sketches,  I realized I had stumbled upon a new visual vocabulary that I now base my sculpted paintings on. These drawings were derived from my experience last summer at the League Residency at YVT. Through the Art Students League of New York.”
